Hello to you if you’re celebrating Steve and Lisas’ wedding at Hotel Du Vin on Saturday! As their wedding DJ I’m just planning the guys playlist. Early on in the evening Rat Pack, Latin and Cuban is the order, with just a touch of Acid Jazz. What a fab taste in music!

Thanks Redditch for making me feel so welcome today! I was asked to event compere the Race For Life on behalf on Heart 100.7 and it was a fab day. The rain just about held off long enough and everyone had a real scream. I think pictures tell a million stories though…

With three weeks of Breakfast Show cover on Heart 100.7 coming up, Race For Life in Redditch to host a couple of wedding discos to perform and the Market Traders Awards to host, life is pretty hectic! Add into the mix the kids being on holiday and I quite literally do not know wether I’m coming or going!
No complaints of course – it’s nice to be busy! I’ll see you at Race For Life (Redditch) on Sunday. I’ll be performing the start and finish line formalities so come over and say hi. Check back here too as I’ll be putting a few pics online.

On Saturday I was booked to DJ at a corporate event. The Volvo Trucks Sports & Social Club had their Family Fun Day at Kenilworth Rugby Football Club. Although I was only there to DJ for the evening Marilyn at Volvo very kindly invited Kelly and the boys too. We had a great day including bouncy castles, football, ice-creams, giant Jenga… you name it! The day was fab and the welcome warm. Thanks guys!

Ok, I can’t say too much about this yet, but I’m a half inch away from being confirmed as the Aftershow Party DJ for a major NEC event! The organisers have gagged me for now but as soon as I can confirm it then you’ll find out here!! How exciting…

Thanks to Caroline and all at IMAX (Millenium Point) in Birmingham for inviting me to introuduce the press screening for Harry Potter & The Half Blood Prince. What a stunning film and what a way to see it! The first 12 minutes is in breathtaking IMAX 3D and is well worth checking out.

How very dare I take a weekend off during the height of wedding season (book now by clicking here!) but all work and no play makes Dave a dull boy. The perfect tonic? A weekend of Motocross and Enduro action!
Fun? Yes! Painful? Erm, VERY!! I’m too old to do this and despite 4 gym sessions a week I’m feeling very second hand from physical exertion.
Oh well, I’ll be rested and mended for a corporate gig next Saturday night. I’ll look forward to seeing you for the Volvo Trucks Sports & Social Club Summer Family day next week! (For more information on booking a corporate party click here)
It’s been weeks trying to sort out this new exciting bit of the site and although a few bits are still to be tweaked, we’re up and blogging!
I’m used to running a blog from the Heart website (find out more about Dave Clarke on Heart 100.7 by clicking here) but it’s ACE to have my own personal blog spot. I have so many gigs coming up with it still being a very busy wedding DJ season (book me here!) And a fair few corporate events too (find out more by going here).
