How much do you charge?

As there are no prices on the website does that mean that you are expensive?
Hiring a voice known to hundreds of thousands may not be as expensive as you think. According to a leading independent survey, the average wedding entertainment spend last year was £599. It's worth bearing in mind that for spending not a lot more than average, you get a LOT more than average with us.
What music do you play?
Just about anything! Whether it’s a full on party or a selection of current dance and R&B, every dance floor is different. 80's and 90's are an increasingly popular genre too. Over the years we have covered many different styles of music from rock to 60’s, Irish to swing, trance to cheese. ‘Musically, how do you see your event going?’ is often Dave’s first question on meeting clients.
So can I supply you a playlist and expect you to play it?
If entertainment was this simple then surely an iPod would be all you’d need?! With over 20 years experience Dave really knows how to work a dancefloor however your playlist is very important to us. As a barometer to you and your guests’ musical preferences, your playlist is essential to our planning. The final product will always be a meeting of the minds.
Do you require a deposit?
We offer our clients the security of a contract of service therefore no deposit is necessary. We do ask for full payment prior to entertainment however.
What hours do you work between?
All bookings are different and each event requires a different approach. On the whole we will only undertake one event each day/evening. This means that if we’re booked then we’re yours! We do not have a £s per hour scale and would not pack up and disappear at midnight just because that was the time originally planned. If the venue gives us a little extra time then ‘let’s party’! We usually base each quote on 5-6 hours of entertainment but we can happily tailor to suit.
Do you only DJ in Birmingham or will you travel?
Whilst Dave is known in and around the West Midlands, good entertainment knows no geographical bounds. Dave has entertained from Arizona to The Maldives and will happily travel to an event.
Is there any limit on how many people you will entertain?
No. From 40,000 people at a large outdoor radio station ‘roadshow’ to a more polite gathering of 50 for the office Christmas party, there is no upper or lower limit on guests.
