Since moving on from the Galaxy radio brand to the Heart family, Dave's club committments have taken a bit of a back seat. Despite residencies at Oceana Birmingham, Careys (Coventry) WS1 and Insomnia (Dudley), private & corporate functions have left Dave unable to commit to regular nights. This is one thing that Dave would very much like to change and he hopes that 2010 will bring more club/bar challenges!
The 'journey' started way back in 1986 in a small wine bar in Shirley, Solihull. Dave Clarke’s DJ experience has gone on to encompass clubs and bars right across the country. From South Wales to Tyneside, Manchester to Surrey and ALL over the Midlands. Dave has experience of just about every major venue in Birmingham having played as resident and guest DJ alike.
From commercial super club to smaller independent venue Dave can hold a crowd, work a dancefloor and bring the party. His mixing skills are second to none having mixed live for national radio several times and through his rich heritage of ‘specialist radio’ (Galaxy & Kiss) Dave knows dance music especially well.
Talk about jack of all trades, master of none, this is simply not true. Dave Clarke can play a commercial venue, house music set or ‘Club Classic’ night equally as well.
